Ghanaian popular lawyer, Maurice Ampaw, has hinted that the Ghana National team – Black Stars, will not succeed with striker, Asamoah Gyan, as the captain.

Speaking in a one on one video interview with Ghanacreativearts.com, Maurice Ampaw said that it is only in Ghana that a serious allegation has been made against the whole national football club’s captain, and everyone is silent on the issue.

“No wonder we go and we don’t get medals because the nation is supporting and condoning evil! If a woman or a poor person cries that injustices has been meant and the nation protects and covers injustice, how can the Black Stars succeed?” he asked rhetorically.

He added that until Asamoah Gyan comes clean, the Ghana National team will not succeed.

“Black Stars can’t succeed with Asamoah Gyan, unless Asamoah Gyan comes clean and Nana Addo allows justice to prevail, the Black Stars will go nowhere” Lawyer Ampaw expressed pessimism.

Lawyer Ampaw also said that he’s calling on lawyer Kissi to go back to the Attorney General to undo what he has done. He also called on the new Attorney General, Madam Gloria Akuffo, to allow justice to prevail.

He also made it known that he’s going to petition Nana Addo, the New Attorney General and the Deputy to return the docket to court. “Nana Addo and Asamoah Gyan, I know are close friends, but I know Nana Addo is a man of justice, so we going to petition him soon, to allow Asamoah Gyan and his lawyer return to court.”
