Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan, has one of his goals for NorthEast United nominated for the club's best in 2019.
The goal scored against Odisha FC in the Indian Superleague on October 26 is in contention with two other goals and could grab the ultimate depending on votes by the club's fans.
Gyan headed home the match winner in the 84th minute to hand his side all the three maximum points and their first win of the season after Redeem Tlang and Xisco had traded goals.
The superb header by the former Black Stars skipper has officially being chosen by the club alongside their first leg Indian Cup semi finals win, Frederico Gallego’s return, as well as Redeem’s goal against Goa as the club’s best moment for 2019.
Fans have been tasked to for the best one on the club’s twitter page after which the results will be announced the coming week.
Gyan joined NorthEast United in September this year after ending his stay with Kayserispor and has so far netted four goals in eight league games.
