Asamoah call-up frustrates coach

Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters says he is not pleased by Derek Asamoah's latest international call-up.

The striker, who recently returned from Ghana's trip to the Far East, has been picked for a friendly with Australia at QPR's Loftus Road on 14 November.

"To travel as many miles as he did for the last Ghana trip and only play five minutes is frustrating," said Peters.

"Since he came back he hasn't been firing on all cylinders. It's not so bad this time as the game's in London."
