Asante Kotoko have held advanced talks to sign Richard Ella Djodi from regional rivals AshantiGold SC in the ongoing transfer window.
The Porcupine Warriors are locked in negotiations with the Miners over the possible transfer of the Ivorian international.
Footballghana.com understands that Djodi will join the Kumasi based side in the coming days.
Kotoko are busy in the transfer market as they want to beef up their squad ahead of the next Ghana Premier League season.
The 28-year-old has established himself to be one of the deadly playmakers in the Ghanaian top-flight league since joining the Obuasi-based club last year.
He scored two goals in his 10 appearances for the Miners lads in the 2018 Ghana Premier League season which ended abruptly.
His earlier move to Asante Kotoko a few months ago broke down after both parties failed to reach an agreement.
He has previously played for Guinea side AC Horoya and AC Leopards of Mali.
