Ghanaian side Kumasi Asante Kotoko have named a 16-man squad for the African Challenge Cup due to kick off in South Africa this weekend.
The team, which left Accra yesterday for South Africa, comprises two goalkeepers and fourteen outfield players.
Players expected to represent Asante Kotoko are keepers Louis Quainoo and Eric Afrifa, plus Daniel Acquah, Joe Hendricks, Felix Yeboah and Godfred Yeboah, Fuseini Adams, Angelo Dedon, Stephen Oduro, Abedi Sarfo, Joe Sam, Michael Osei, Nana Frimpong, Shilla Alhassan, Osei Kwame Snr. and Joe Louis.
They will be accompanied by head coach Ernst Middendorp, along with other club officials. However he will be returning with five or six players for their domestic league match against Kwaebibirem in Kumasi.
A special bonus package has also been arranged for the players who will be playing in the domestic league to earn as much as those representing the team in South Africa.
