Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of Paa Kwesi Fabin as their new head coach, eight years after his dismissal for non-performance.
Fabin has been contracted to take charge of the club on an initial one year deal.
He replaces Englishman Steve Pollack who had his contract terminated last Friday following the team's elimination from the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
A statement signed of Sunday, 25 February 2018, read: ''Asante Kotoko SC is pleased to announce the appointment of Samuel Kwesi Fabin as the new Head Coach of the Club.
''Mr.Fabin is tasked with a duty to guide the Porcupines in the 2018/2019 season while managing talent at the club for overall success.''
He first worked with the club during the Herbert Mensah era where he was in-charge of the club's youth side which produced budding talents who went on to play for the senior team.
In 2009/10 season, he was hired again as but was sacked with six matches to the end of the season.
Fabin was recently head coach of the Ghana U17 team where he guided the team to the quarter-final of the 2017 FIFA U17 finals in India.
