Asante Kotoko's head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the team's supporters following their victory over Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors secured a convincing 2-0 win against the Royals during their Matchday 29 encounter at Baba Yara Stadium.
Goals from the dynamic duo, Steven Mukwala and Nurudeen Mohammed, clinched the victory for the Reds, further extending their impressive unbeaten run.
Speaking after the game, Dr. Ogum took a moment to praise the steadfast support of the fans, acknowledging their positive energy as a key factor in the team's success.
"Today, they came, they sang, they supported us. I didn't see any negativity when mistakes were made, which is great because criticism can make players tense," he remarked post-match.
Asante Kotoko currently holds the 10th position on the Premier League table with 40 points as they gear up to face Berekum Chelsea in their forthcoming Matchday 30 fixture at Golden City Park.
