Fifa U-20 world cup winner, Gladson Awako has confirmed talks with Asante Kotoko over a possible transfer.
Awako, who played a key role in Berekum Chelsea’s success story in Africa, could join the Ghanaian giants next season.
Awako is a free agent after he failed to reach an agreement with Congolese Premier League side Don Bosco for his contract to be extended.
The 25-year-old spent four years in Congo where he enjoyed an amazing spell with TP Mazembe, winning two continental titles.
‘’Right now am in Ghana and some Clubs have shown interest, but Kotoko have been talking to me,” he told Pressmen.
