Asante Kotoko officially part ways with Danlad Ibrahim, Eric Zeze, George Mfegue, eight other players

Asante Kotoko has officially parted ways with 11 players following the end of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

In a statement on their official social media account, Kotoko announced that they had mutually released some of their players.

The players who have been released by the club include foreign players like Kalo Ouattara, George Mfegue, Moise Pouaty, and Serge Eric Zeze.

Notable players such as experienced goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim,

Isaac Oppong, Sherif Mohammed, and Augustine Agyapong have also been released by the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko had one of their worst seasons in recent years, losing six consecutive matches at some point, matching their worst record in 14 years.

The Porcupine Warriors finished 6th with 49 points, winning 14, losing 13, and drawing 7 matches.
