Asante Kotoko release midfielder Francis Larbi Koomson

Asante Kotoko have released midfielder Larbi Koomson who recently returned to training after over a year out due to injury.

Koomson, who underwent surgery last year to correct career-threatening knee injury at the club’s training ground prior to last season’s league, returned to the field in January.

But the club has no plans for the attacking midfielder whose contract expires at the end of this month.

The Ashanti Gold SC academy graduate played for BA Stars and Medeama SC before joining the Porcupines two seasons ago.
