The National Circles Council, the umbrella body of Asante Kotoko supporters, wants to fund the signing of AshantiGold midfielder Latif Anabila.
According to a report by Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the executive of the NCC are ready to organize a fundraising exercise.
Anabila is running out of contract with the Miners and the Porcupine Warriors want to have him in their team.
Attempts by the Christopher Damenya-led administration to meet the club's management have proved futile.
The NCC is alleging that Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei is deliberately avoiding a meeting with them.
They also want to find a solution to the club's current predicament of paying a US$ 240,000 fine to FIFA over the Emmanuel Clottey transfer saga.
