Asante Kotoko’s tough matches for the 2019/20 season

Asante Kotoko will fancy themselves for glory in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season following the return of their ‘prodigal son’ Coach Maxwell Konadu.

The Porcupine Warriors are the most successful club in the competition having won the title a record 24 times.

The Ghana FA has released the fixture list for the new season which kicks off on the weekend of December 27-29 at various match venues across the country.

Kotoko will begin their campaign at home to Eleven Wonders on Matchday 1.

Super Clash

The team will then travel to Accra to face Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash on Matchday 6. The reverse fixture will be played on matchday 23.

Stakes high in Ashanti-Derby

Asante Kotoko SC will host Ashantigold SC as they battle for bragging rights in an Ashanti Regional Derby in Matchday 10.

Kumasi Derby

Kotoko will rekindle an age old rivalry when they lock horns with newcomers King Faisal FC to end the first round of matches.
