Asante Kotoko striker William Opoku Mensah says he still has plans to return to teaching in the future.
Mensah, who holds a degree in Health, Christian Education, and Recreation, joined the Porcupine Warriors last year from Karela United FC.
He was combining teaching with football during his days with Karela United FC before he left to sign for American USL Championship side Swope Park Rangers on loan.
The 24-year-old has disclosed that he still harbours the desire to return to teaching one day.
"I have not closed my doors to the teaching profession. I have plans to return to the classroom. I cannot tell exactly when but it would happen before I retire from football.
“I enjoy teaching, which is why I was able to combine it with football while at Karela", the striker said in an interview with the Kotoko Express App."
Mensah scored 2 goals in 8 games for Asante Kotoko before the league was put on hold due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
