Asante's injury can sideline him

Influential Ghana winger Solomon Asante is a doubt for TP Mazembes Mo Ibrahim cup game against a select side from Ghana after picking up an injury in Ghanas game against Comoros.

The 25-year-old schemer had to leave the pitch on the 39th minute mark after picking an injury during the Black Stars 2-0 win over Comoros in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday afternoon.

The extent of the injury is yet to be made public but clearly Asante is running against time to be fit for the game against a select side from Ghana which is set to come off on the 22nd of this month.

The Ravens will fly their entire squad which recently won the CAF Champions league title to play in the Mo Ibrahim Cup competition.
