AshGold CEO Frederick Acheampong has opened up on the club’s decision not to register striker Sadick Adams for their campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to him, Ashantigold are in negotiations with Ivorian Premier league side Asec Mimosa for the transfer of the player reason they decided to leave him out of their African Squad.
Acheampong also insisted they didn’t regret signing the former Kotoko striker.
“We had talked with Asec Mimosa for his service. They came and we had a good negotiation. We are waiting for them to call us”
“We haven’t regret signing him, should Asec pay the money we quoted it would be a perfect business,” He told Kessben FM Sports.
Ashantigold will face Akonangui FC of Guinea in the Preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
