'AshGold must sign a lot of players for Africa'

Ex AshantiGold striker Augustine Arhinful has urged the club to sign more players ahead of their campaign in the CAF Champions League.

The Miners will be Ghana’s sole representative in Africa’s flagship club competition in 2016 by virtue of their domestic league triumph.

AshGold won their first ever Premier League title in 18-years in the just ended campaign.

Their domestic feat sees them return to the CAF Champions League.

Arhinful wants the side to sign more players to afford the coach a bog squad to choose from ahead of their African campaign.

“They should bring on board some additional players to beef up the squad,” he said.

“You will need a big squad to deal with issues of injuries and suspensions so they are able to compete.”
