AshGold supporters threaten to leave club and join Kotoko

Irate supporters of AshantiGold SC have sent out a strong warning to the management of the club that they will abandon the club and support regional rivals Asante Kotoko should they keep the current operations team.

The supporters believe the club will return to winning ways when the current leave because they bring team no good luck but rather curse.

They however threatened to leave the club and support Asante Kotoko if the management do not heed to their cry.

“We don’t want them anymore (operations team), the spirit they use to bring into the club has turned into bad luck due certain things that most of them are doing,” a source told Ghana Sports.

“If they continue to be at the helm of affairs, we will stop supporting the team and go and support Asante Kotoko.”

Ashanti Gold are currently lying 13th on the Ghana Premier League table with 7 points from 8 matches.
