Ashgold presents league trophy to Asantehene

Premier League Champions Ashanti Gold will present their League trophy to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II.

The contingent made up of players, technical team and management will present the trophy to the ruler of the Ashanti Kingdom at the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday.

The miners ended their 19 year Premier League trophy jinx after clinching the 2014/15 First Capital plus Premier League.

The Ghanaian giants dethroned their regional rivals Asante Kotoko to win their fourth Premier League title.

Ashanti Gold will hence represent Ghana in the 2016 CAF Champions League competition.
