Ashanti Gold midfielder Eric Opoku admits side has been far less impressive this season but is very confident of picking maximum points at the expense of Hasaacas.
The Miners face relegation-threatened Hasaacas at home with the chance of returning to the win column after 2-0 defeat at Aduana Stars last weekend.
“This season hasn’t been good for us. Things haven’t gone well but we hope to finish the League very strong,” he told Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“We will defeat Hasaacas come Sunday. There is no way they will pick a point in Obuasi.
“We want to finish in a respectable position because winning the title will be difficult so we will beat Hasaacas to maintain that quest.”
