Ashia is gone

Liberty Professionals midfielder Kennedy Ashia is expected to officially put pen-to-paper after successfully undergoing his medical at Sudanese Champions Al-Hilal Oumbduman.

Ashia underwent his medical on Imperial Hospital in Khartoum on Saturday hence expected to seal a two-year deal with the Club.

The Ghana U23 midfielder had initially held talks with Ghana Premier League side’s Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold who were all eager to secure his signature at the end of the 2014/15 First Capital plus Premier League.

The former Black Satellites midfield kingpin was influential for Liberty Professionals last season.
