Assifuah denies signing for Sion

Ghana Under-20 star Ebenezer Assifuah has rubbished claims that he has signed a four-year deal with Swiss side Sion FC.

The 2013 U20 World Cup top goal scorer is still in Ghana contrary to media reports that he is in Switzerland to complete the deal.


Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM, the Liberty Professionals striker said: “All these rumours about me going anywhere is not true.”

He added: “I am still a player of Liberty Professionals and as you can see I am still in Accra.


“I only went to Kumasi and Takoradi to visit my family, I have only been training with Liberty since I came back.”
