Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey flattered by interest from host of Europe's biggest clubs

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey is flattered by interest from several top European clubs.

The 26-year-old, who has a contract with Atleti until 2023, has been a subject of intense interest from many stellar clubs.

The Ghana international has been linked to Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG and Bayern Munich in the past.

However,the Ghanaian who has disclosed new contract talks with Atletico Madrid, says he is flattered by the intrigue.

"I think I am proud for having attracted the attention of other teams and this motivates me because it makes me feel that I am doing things well and improving things," he added.

"There are things that you always think since childhood, but when you grow up things can change and you don't know what can happen, but my desire is to stay here until the team don't want me anymore."

"These are things that sometimes are not decisions of the player, they are decisions of the club and I always say that if the club want me here then I will be here until they don't want me anymore."

The Ghana star has been a top performer for the Spanish giants, dominating headlines with briliant displays and goals.
