Ghana and newly signed Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu could make his debut against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
The former Malaga winger was not in the team that beat Derby County 2-0 over the weekend but has trained well since arriving at St. Jame’s Park.
Newcastle United manager Rafael Banitez has revealed he would have to assess his squad before making a decision on the highly rated Ghana international.
“Yeah. At the moment the way that we work is that we will fly back, we will see if we have any problems in our training sessions.
“All the signings that we made this season have a chance to make it to the play at QPR but we need to look at the team again.”
"Atsu like all the other signings has been very impressive in training and we are looking at him."
