Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu says he is ready to do his best no matter who leads the Black Stars as captain in Egypt.
The mercurial wide man insists whoever the coach has chosen as skipper, he will give him the needed recognition as he has done always since he came into the team.
“For me, I don’t mind who is captain of the Black Stars. Whoever the coach decides is captain, I will give him the same respect and support I gave to the old captain,” Atsu told citisportsonline.com
“What’s important is winning the cup. If we can win the AFCON, it will bring happiness to the country.”
Atsu won the best player of the 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea where Ghana reached the finals.
