Atsu starts training ahead of West Ham tie

Christian Atsu was in the pack in Bournemouth's training ahead of this weekend's Premier League action.

Black Stars winger Christian Atsu has commenced full scale group training at Bournemouth and could make his English Premier League debut for the Cherries against West Ham on Saturday.

The former FC Porto man was out of action for three weeks after picking up a back injury in a pre-season friendly against Yeovil Town.

The recovery of Atsu is good news to Avram Grant, who needs the full complement of his key players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on September 5.
