Saif Rubie, the agent of Ghana coach Avram Grant, has twisted the knife further into the Ghanaian media with another incendiary attack, describing them as clueless.
Rubie, who has been bantering with the media on micro-blogging website Twitter the last few days, believes his client Grant deserves more respect from local journalists.
The Black Stars are still in pole to qualify as Group H leaders after opening a four-point lead after four rounds of matches.
Victory over Mauritius in June will seal their qualification to the finals in Gabon next year.
After watching Nigeria got eliminated from the qualifiers and South Africa also on the verge of crashing out, Rubie said: “Funny how GH media think qualifying for #afcon2017 is easy. Tell that to Nigeria & South Africa media this morning. Lol #clueless #ghmedia.”
