Awal, Yakubu still without a win for Raja

Ghana international Awal Mohammed started for Raja Casablanca while Yakubu Mohammed was introduced on the 72nd minute but Raja Casablanca were held 1-1 by Kawkab Marrakech.

The Green Castle are without a win in this year’s Moroccan league after they could only pick up a point against Kawkab Marrakech at home.

Awal Mohammed who has formed a good central defensive pairing with Abdul Banoun was named in the starting lineup and lasted the entire duration of the game.

Raja started on the right footing with El Ouadi putting the Green and white side ahead on the 9th minute but a miscalculation from Abdul Banoun saw Kawkab Marrakech awarded a penalty which Sekkat stepped up to coolly dispatch.

Former AshGold striker striker Yakubu Mohammed was introduced into the game on the 72nd minute but he could not find the back of the net.

Felllow Ghana international Nathaniel Asamoah was an unused substitute on the day.
