Awal wants Al Shabab contract cancelled over unpaid wages

Awal Mohammed is pushing for the cancellation of his contract with Al Shabab over outstanding salaries, Sportscrusader.com has gathered.

The 27-year-old only joined the Saudi Arabian club in January from Maritzburg United.

But Al Shabab have failed to live up to their obligations of paying the monthly wages of the Ghana international for over three months.

The signing-on fee also due Awal has not been paid.

The former Asante Kotoko defender has now asked his contract to be terminated with immediate effect.

Al Shabab are known for their wealth but for inexplicable reasons are owing player salaries for months.
