Andre and Jordan Ayew will write in the coming days to the Ghana FA to officially communicate their return to the Black Stars, an insider has told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The Marseille must write the letter before they are considered for selection in future matches as they are still unavailable for international football.
Despite accepting to return to the Black Stars after meeting the country's President John Mahama, there has been some reluctance to the write letter confirming their decision.
Their spokesman Fiifi Tackie even went ahead to claim that the two players will not write to confirm their availability for the Black Stars.
However an insider close to the Marseille duo has told Ghana's leading news website www.ghanasoccernet.com that they will write to the GFA to confirm their availability.
The Ayews wrote to the GFA to announce their decisions to leave the national team and have since changed their minds.
But as they have not officially written to renounce their decisions, they are still unavailable for international football as their club could decline an invitation from Ghana since they have not received a letter saying the Ayews are now available for international football.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will not call up the trio until they have officially informed their clubs that they have come out of international retirement.
However, the GFA does not want a conflict with the trio’s clubs and will not request their release for international duty until each player formally notifies their employers and the GFA of their decision to be available for the country.
The request is similar to what Asamoah Gyan did when he ended his self-imposed exile from Ghana’s national team.
The Ayews turned their backs on Ghana in February claiming they have a row with the Black Stars management, a claim the management denies.
