Ayew equals Tony Yeboah's EPL goals in a season record

Ghana forward Andre Ayew scored his 12th goal of the season to equal Tony Yeboah’s 21-year-old record of 12 goals scored in a single season by a Ghanaian.

Andre Ayew achieved the feat after seeing his attempted free-kick come off Fernando and beat Joe Hart in post for Manchester City in the Swans final game of the 2015/2016 season

The 26-year-old kept his tradition of scoring against the big sides in the English Premier League season.

Ayew has now scored against Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs, West Ham United, Liverpool and now Manchester City.

The Ghanaian is now officially the highest goal scorer for Swansea this season after joining from Marseille in the summer.
