Former West Ham striker Steve Jones says he is impressed with the output of Ghana international Andre Ayew despite previously questioning his 20 million pounds price tag.
Jones was one of the men who came out publicly last year to question the money the hammers paid to secure Ayew from Swansea but he now believes the left-footed attacker has proven himself.
“It is good to see Andre Ayew finding form in front of goal.” Jones told Echo
“I have questioned his £20million price tag – which was the fee he joined West Ham United for from Swansea City last year – but he scores goals.”
“He scored two goals in the Carabao Cup against Tottenham Hotspur and then followed that up with a lovely goal at Crystal Palace.”he added
Ayew has now netted three goals in his last two games for West Ham and is gunning for the club’s player of the month.
