Ex-Hearts management member Aziz Haruna Futah has launched a stinging attack on the board for failing to put in place a management team together.

The hard-hitting chief of the powerful chapter O supporters’ wing of the club feels the lack of proper structure is making the club unattractive.

The Ghanaian giants have been without a substantive Managing Director following the dismissal of Neil Armstrong Mortgabe in May this year with majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV acting in an interim basis.

With Hearts failing to get Moro Abubakar and Nuru Sulley to extend their contracts, and having failed in their bid to sign Ahmed Toure, it illustrates the discontent still rumbling around the capital-based side.

Aziz Futah, a former management member of the club has lashed out at the board for the current turn of events. “I think the board should take a large chunk of the blame. Look as we speak we don’t even have a proper management team in place,” he told Oman FM.

“It’s part of the reasons why players can slip through our fingers. If there was a proper management in place, I’m not too sure Toure for instance will ditch us for Kotoko.

“Sometimes when I look at what is happening to my darling club, I want to weep.

“So Hearts of Oak of all teams can behave this way? It shocking to me to be honest but we’ll hold the board accountable for what is happening.”

Hearts have confirmed the signing of Kwame Kizito, Seidu Muntawakilu, Issah Mumuni and Soulama Abdoulaye as they fortify their squad ahead of the new season.
