Promising Ghanaian boxer Musa Rahman Lawson has vowed to make light work of Lebanese Elias Farah ahead of their International Middleweight Amateur contest in the Azumah Nelson Fight Night on April 1.

The hugely anticipated fight will take place at the plush Bukom Boxing Arena.

The international fight is among six bouts expected to put fans on the edge throughout the evening.

With grim expressions and gruff reaction, the young Ghanaian boxer is confident he will win the combat albeit being cautiously optimistic.

“It’s an interesting fight for me and I’m looking forward to a great night,” he said.

“I have the chance to watch his fight and he’s very good but I believe in myself as well."

“We are here to give a good fight and I will make my fans proud.”

There is no hint of strain even as the conversation turns to the big fight against the Military-trained boxer in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

"OK, this is the one of the important fight for my young boxing career but I know I am going to win," he says.

"We have several strategies for this fight. I’m very comfortable."

"I can’t say Farah is the most dangerous opponent of my young career because I haven’t fought him yet."

"I can say he’s a difficult opponent but I’m comfortable and confident. I have my killer instinct."

Other pairings on the night include the National Super Featherweight Championship banter between Wahab Oluwaseun and Abraham Osei-Bonsu as well as the National Super Bantamweight contest between Isaac Sackey and Kamarudeen Boyefio.

Emmanuel Martey squares off with Stephen Abbey in a National Super Middleweight Championship battle with Michael Pappoe Isaac Dowuona set to rumble in the Super Featherweight contest.

Highly-rated Isaac Dogbe takes on Edward Kambasi in the Featherweight contest.

The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is an initiative of the legendary African boxer aimed at providing exposure for boxing talents in Africa.

It’s intended to develop and sharpen their skill-set with a view of helping the boxers to improve in confidence needed to become world beaters.

The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is a non-biased boxing promotion and will be shown on DSTV.

The third edition of the Azumah Nelson Fight Night is sponsored by Goil, Sahara, National Investment Bank and Geodrill.
