International Hall of Fame Inductee, Azumah Nelson, has tipped Isaac Dogboe (17-0, 11 KO’s) to win a World title.
Dogboe over the weekend in front of a packed crowd (at Bukom Boxing Arena) that include figure heads like ex-president Jerry John Rawlings and Azumah Nelson destroyed Argentina’s Javier Chacon (25-4-1, 7 KO’s) to defend his WBO international super bantamweight belt.
The 22-year-old warrior claimed a seventh round KO over the Argentine, and he is set to challenge WBO World super bantamweight champion Jesse Magdaleno for the latter’s belt.
And Nelson after watching the former Olympian claimed a resounding victory of Chacon tipped him to win a World title.
“Everybody here saw it tonight and can attest to the fact that Dogboe is the best. I don’t want to mention names for people to say that I’m being biased but we all can make our conclusions based on what we’ve seen here tonight.
He is hugely talented and I have no doubt he will be a great boxer who will win Ghana a lot of titles.” Nelson said.
