United President and P.R.O Assaulted.
Horrible officiating from centre referee Iddrisu Adams and his assitants Abubakar Alhassan and Baba Haruna all from Tamale appointed by Ghana Football Association for the tdivision one third week league match between Unity F/C based in Goaso and Brong Ahafo United saw Unity FC owned by G.F.A Ethics Committee Chairman Nana Adjei Ampofo beat B/A United 1-0 from spot kick in the 90th minute courtesy daylight robbery officiating by the match officials.
Not satisfied with their late gifted victory, the management of Unity F/C incited their supporters and together attacked B/A United team. Mr.Ransford Antwi , the president of United had to be whisked away as a management of Unity F/C swore to slap him . Club P.R.O, Cubagee Uriel was physically assaulted by the same management member of Unity FC at the full glare of players and other management members of Unity F/C as the three police officers the home team provided for the match looked on helplessly. The technical team and players of United were not spared from the barbaric act .
The match which delayed for eighteen minutes got underway at 3:18 pm after Unity FC managed to convince match commissioner George Amankwa from Sunyani with one police officer. Twenty minutes into the game two additional police officers joined to bring to three the number of police officers present for the match tension packed match.
By this victory Unity F/C leads zone 1b with 9 points.
