Baba Amando Fined For Traffic Offences.

EX-ASANTE Kotoko star Baba Adamu Amando has been fined $US 150 for a number of traffic offences by a Circuit Tribunal in Kumasi.

Amando who now plays for the Russian side Chernomorets was alleged to have knocked down a pedestrian with his unregistered Mercedes Benz in Kumasi on June 22, 2000. He then drove away and failed to report the accident to the Police.


The former international was arrested after a police investigation and charged with various traffic offences.

Amando pleaded guilty to negligent driving, causing harm and failing to report the accident, he was then granted bail pending the trial and sentencing.


The Tribunal ordered that the victim be given half the amount of the fine.
