Baba Armando Adams who was released by his Russian club; FC Lokomotiv Moskva early this year has secured a six-month loan deal to join FC Dinamo Minsk in the Belarus league.
The forward player who was yearning for a move to the German Bundesliga could not attract any suitable buyers and had to settle for the Belarus deal. The former Asante Kotoko star who featured in some European Champions League matches for Lokomotiv Moskva last year was released this year by the Russian club because of little playing time.
Armando had little playing time in Russia, as he could not break into the first eleven of Moskva.
Baba Armando started his Ghanaian premiership career with relegated Swedru All Blacks where he played for a season before he was transferred to United Arab Emirates club, Al-Shabab.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko then interested in the talented left-footed played secured him on loan from the Emirates. After completion of the season with Asante Kotoko, Armando reverted back to his Emirates club before he signed for Lokomotiv Moskva in Russia. He now joins other Ghanaian players who have made moves on the European transfer market.
The major Ghanaian signings include the transfer of Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah from AC Parma to Serie A champions, Juventus for a 12 million-loan deal. Another major signing is Michael Essien of Bastia fame. After his move to Paris Saint Germain was reported widely in Europe, Essien rather opted for Olympique Lyon. Essien signed a four-year deal with the French Champions for $8 million.
Other players who have secured moves include, George Blay in the Belgian league where he joins La Louviere from KV Mechelen on a free transfer. Junior Agogo of Barnet in the English first division has also concluded a 110,000 Pounds move to join Bristol Rovers. Before securing Agogo's signature, Rovers had to also release player Grazioli in addition to the 110,000 Pounds for the Ghanaian's signature.
