Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams expressed elation following Athletic Bilbao's 2-0 triumph over Getafe away from home.
Williams scored both goals, with his brother Nico Williams providing the assists, as the Copa del Rey champions strive for a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
A standout performance from goalkeeper Unai Simon, who thwarted Mason Greenwood's penalty, was crucial to their Friday night success.
Williams commended Simon and celebrated the team's tenacity in securing the vital away victory.
"We boast the top goalkeeper in La Liga, and our goal is for him to win the Zamora Trophy," he remarked during the post-match press conference. "We battled fiercely," he continued.
The 29-year-old also turned to social media to share his joy over the win, posting: "Back to winning ways."
With 11 goals in La Liga and three assists this season, Williams is a key contributor to the Basque club's ambition to secure a European qualification to complement their Copa del Rey victory.
