Former Ghana and Asante Kotoko forward Baffour Gyan has advised players to take their training schedules seriously as the league is on break due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Football activities has been suspended by the government due to the coronavirus outbreak pandemic in the West African country.
Baffour Gyan, the senior brother of Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan in an interview advised players to keep up with their personal training in order to maintain their form when football resumes.
“This has never happened before. As a footballer, you must train every day whilst you are at home. When you are active and you don’t even play, you get rusty. Now that Football has been suspended it will affect you if you don’t train”, he said in an interview.
He added: “I will plead with all the players to train every day and check their diet too as well so they don’t put on weight. Because getting your form back will take you longer”.
