Czechia club Banik Ostrava has secured the services of Ghanaian full-back Patrick Kpozo for further years, extending his contract until the end of 2026.
The 27-year-old has become a key figure in Pavel Hapal's squad, earning a well-deserved reputation for his consistent performances since his arrival at the club last year.
Kpozo, who already had 22 appearances in European competitions, including Champions League qualifiers, further showcased his skills last season by making 33 league starts.
His ability to contribute both defensively and offensively was evident, as he scored three goals and provided four assists, underlining his versatility as a left-back.
This season, Kpozo has continued to impress, with four league starts and four cup appearances under his belt.
His form has not gone unnoticed, and the decision to extend his contract is a testament to his value within the team.
Sports director Ludek Miklosko expressed his delight at the agreement, emphasizing Kpozo’s consistency and happiness in Ostrava as key factors behind the extension.
As a three-time Ghana international, Kpozo brings experience and composure to the field.
With this contract extension, Ostrava has ensured that they will continue to benefit from his dynamic play and leadership for years to come.
