Banku and Powers set for weigh-in on Wednesday

The eagerly anticipated boxing showdown between Braimah Kamoko AKA Bukom Banku and Michael Okine AKA Ayitey Powers reaches a point of no return when both boxers try to make the weight for the non-title Cruiserweight contest.

According to the Box Office Sports Promotions who are staging the mega bout codenamed Judgement Night, everything is on course for the weigh-in at the Media Centre of on Wednesday morning 10.30 sharp.

The two boxers and their respective set of vociferous fans are expected to troop the venue which will also witness weigh-ins by other boxers fighting on the undercard including former Commonwealth champion Obodai Sai who takes on Nigerian Abolaji Rasheed in an international Light Middleweight contest.

Also fighting are Prince Dzanie versus Galley Cudjoe for the national bantamweight championship and a Light Heavyweight contest between Maxwell Amponsah and George Banson with Manyo Plange also engaging in a Bantamweight bout.

Meanwhile, the ring donated by broadcast sponsors, Supersport has arrived and will be mounted by tomorrow morning before the weighs.
