Basque Country XI beat the Ghana national team 3-2 in a football friendly played at the San Mames' stadium in Bilbao.

Basque Country XI 3 (Bolo 46, De Paula 59, 67)
Ghana 2 (Derek 13, Mensah 70)
Red Card: Princton Owusu Ansah(G)

The Stars will fly direct to Egypt to engage the Pharaohs in their last away friendly on January 4 before returning home to play host to Benin in Accra on January 6.

Basque Country is a a part of both Spain and France, but it's a nation that wants it's independence from both countries. Their language is euskera (basque), and they have their own culture, traditions and identity.
