Bayern Munich promising talent Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has announced his readiness to play for the Black Stars after talks with assistant national team coach Ibrahim Tanko.
The Hamburg-born is eligible to play for the West African country.
Wriedt, 23, is a promising prospect who has scored 20 league goals in 27 appearances in the in the Regionalliga Nord.
He made his Bundesliga debut in November last year as a 68th minute substitute for Sebastian Rudy in the 2-1 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach.
At 1.87m tall, Wriedt is a powerful striker with pace to boot.
He is naturally two-footed and is not just an out-and-out goal-getter — he is a provider as well.
