Bayern's Kuffour handed three-match ban

BERLIN, April 18 (Reuters) - Bayern Munich's Ghanaian defender Samuel Kuffour was handed a three-match ban by the German Football Federation (DFB) on Tuesday following a red card offence in a league match last week.

Kuffour, who was sent off for a foul on Georgian Levan Kobiaschwili in a 2-1 win over SC Freiburg, already sat out Saturday's 2-1 defeat by city rivals TSV 1860.

He will now have to miss the defending champions' next two Bundesliga games, against Borussia Dortmund and Hansa Rostock, but will be available for their final two league matches of the season, against Arminia Bielefeld and Werder Bremen.
