The two Premier League clubs locked horns to get themselves in shape ahead of the upcoming season at the Kpobiman Sports Complex.
Bechem United broke the deadlock in the first half and led all the way into the second half.
Back from recess, Hearts of Oak turned things around and scored just one minute into the second half through a strike from Saani Mohammed.
Later on, goals from Isaac Frimpong and new signing Mawuli Wayo put the Phobians in control and en route to victory.
However, a late charge from Bechem United saw the side scoring twice to deny Hearts of Oak victory.
Today’s friendly match offered the technical teams of the two clubs the chance to assess the level of the teams ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Hearts of Oak will be playing multiple friendly matches before the start of the new season.
