Striker Amed Toure scored his ninth goal of the season in Bechem United’s 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
With nine games to end the season, Toure is now two goals behind leading scorer Nicholas Gyan.
But the former Kotoko man says he isn’t targeting the goal king gong just yet.
“I want to help Bechem reach the top 4. For me, it is the interest of Bechem first.
“Everything is possible about the goal king. Maybe I can do something about it but for now, it is not my [prime] target,” he told reporters.
Amed Toure’s goal on Sunday was also his ninth against Hearts of Oak since arriving in Ghana.
