New Berekum Chelsea hitman Eric Bekoe has sent out a warning to

former employers Heart of Lions that there will be no benevolence at the Golden

City Park on Match Day 1 of 2012/13.

Bekoe is so fired up for Chelsea, he has vowed to celebrate

than ever before if he scores against his old club on Sunday.

He told 90 MINUTES: “As a player, when you are playing against

your former club is the time to prove that you are ahead of the club that’s why

you left.

“I am being paid by the owners of Berekum Chelsea to give

them results and no one works at Glo and go for pay at MTN, it just doesn’t

happen.”

Bekoe whose move to Kotoko fell through at the last moment,

added: “It’s not easy to put a ball at the back of a net so when it happens,

jubilation should be the important factor so I careless the team that I score

against whether small or big.”

Bekoe who joined the just dethroned Ghana champions barely

two weeks ago, says he’s settling in well at the Berekum club and can’t wait

for Sunday’s game.

“Training has been tough because the technical team is

pushing us to the last limit with their determination that the team improves

than it ever were,” the former goal king said.

He added: “Winning the league is every player’s priority and luckily

for us, this season’s recruitment indicates that management have sown a good

seed. We the players are also ready to die for the club.”
