MTN to offer mobile football content

MTN is to offer football coverage as content on mobile

devices to subscribers across Africa for the 2008 MTN


Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ghana. The service


will include SMS notifications, AFCON sanctioned video


and still pictures. Subscribers can select the content

of the package they want from highlights of games to


statistics and scores of matches, and downloads of


country flags of the participating teams, team shirts,


national anthems and football ringtones.
