Eleven wise beat Vipers in a friendly match

Cape Coast, March 16, GNA - Visiting Sekondi Eleven Wise on Saturday played a spectacular game to beat Cape Coast Venomous Viper 2-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah stadium. Vipers who started the match on a bright note with an intention to carry the day, managed to score the opener in the 15th minute through midfielder, Hamidu Bukari. Wise warmed themselves into the game but it was not until the 25th minute when their outside right, Richard Harley found the net with a sizzling shot.

Vipers who started the match on a bright note with an intention to carry the day, managed to score the opener in the 15th minute through midfielder, Hamidu Bukari. Wise warmed themselves into the game but it was not until the 25th minute when their outside right, Richard Harley found the net with a sizzling shot. The visitors continued to dictate the pace of the game and it came as no surprise when their midfielder, Francis Osei scored the match winner in the 35th minute. The best chance for Vipers came in the 40th minute when they were awarded a penalty but their captain, Ernest Mensah wasted the chance by kicking the ball off target. The second half produced no goals to either side till the final whistle.
