Berekum Arsenals have been handed a one-match home ban and fined GHC 3,000 for misconduct after their opening day match in the Division One League against RTU.

They were charged on two counts- firstly-for failing to control the club’s supporters when they rushed onto the field of play without the permission and consent of the Match Referee and chased Assistant Referee 2, Adamu H. Yahaya to the center of the field in an attempt to physically assault him on or about the 60th minute.

On the second count, Berekum Arsenals is said to have failed to control the supporters of the club immediately after the referee whistled for the end of the match.
